Australian Institute of Archaeology Register
Two photocopies of about 50 pages of Book 1 (Cyprus only) of the Institute's Register are in spring-back folders. Both copies have certain entries highlighted, indicating items purchased by the University from the Institute in 1987.
The Institute employed a geographical and chronological coding system, which is recorded in the Virtual Museum entries as the "Previous no." (and sometimes in the Tertiary Inscription) with the format IAx.xxx[x], where x is a number in accordance with the following table:
